Tobacco-Free Campus

Starting Sept. 1, 2010, UTB/TSC will be tobacco-free on all university property to create a healthier environment for students, faculty and staff members, and visitors.

UTB/TSC will help university tobacco users kick the habit. Students may go to the Student Health Services website or call 956-882-3896. Faculty and staff members may contact Human Resources at 956-882-8205 or go to the Employee Wellness Smoking/Tobacco Cessation Program webpage.

The Tobacco-free Campus policy is in compliance with The University of Texas System Board of Regents' Resolution Regarding Tobacco-related Health Concerns of June 6, 1991.
