The Division of Institutional Advancement supports the many instructional, research and public service programs of The University of Texas at Brownsville. Together, we build and strengthen relationships that encourage and support the mission of UTB to provide affordable, accessible higher education to the people of the Rio Grande Valley, Northeastern Mexico and beyond.

As our common goal to heighten awareness of UTB as a quality institution, the Division directs the stewardship of financial resources as well as volunteerism needed to support the efforts of UTB in its academic and research missions, community-centered programs and cross-cultural initiatives – all worthy of your support.
