Basic Building

The following tutorial provides information on how to do basic building on vUTB. Everything you see on vUTB and other islands (what we call land or computer space) has been created. At UTB, most of our islands are built by students and our Artist in Residence, Alan Passarine.

For Phoenix Firestorm users, this tutorial is done in the Second Life Viewer. The functions are the same, just the location and appearance of the controls are different. To make your Firestorm viewer appear more like the Second Live Viewer, click here.

The video below will take you through the basic steps for building objects. Once you feel comfortable building basic objects, continue on to the other videos.
