Project Description:

The purpose of this study is to explore how multiple factors influence Latina/o students’ mental health. Using an ecological approach will extend individualistic explanations toward understanding the influence of individual, interpersonal, and institutional factors on Latina/o students’ mental health (Byrd & McKinney, 2012). This study can provide important understanding of positive indicators of Latina/o students’ mental health. Results can be used to develop programs and policies to improve factors that contribute to Latina/o students’ positive mental health.
