Yeong Nain Chi
Dr. Yeong Nain Chi is currently a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics and Statistics in the School of Business. He has teaching experience in Macroeconomics, Microeconomics and Statistics. Dr. Chi earned an exceptional merit in 2009 and an Apple Award in 2008. He also guided our MBA graduate students working together as the independent studies and presented the results at conferences, for example, the UTB/TSC Research Symposium.
Currently, Dr. Chi serves as a member of the Graduate Curriculum Committee, a member of the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee, and a member of the Participant (Faculty) Committee in the School of Business. He also volunteers as a mentor for the International Visiting Research Scholar Program (China) in the School of Business.
Since he joined our school in September 2006, Dr. Chi has authored and co-authored more than 10 articles in proceedings and referred journals. He has presented more than 20 papers and served as a session chair and discussant at regional, national, and international conferences. Dr. Chi is also involved in several research support and grant activities, for example, the Texas Clipper project, with our colleagues in the school of Business.
