Martin Shane holds a PhD from The University of Iowa at Iowa City, Master’s in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University, and Bachelor’s of Science from Northern Illinois University. He has worked 5 years in industry for a multinational company, served on the Board of Directors of a small firm, appointed as the Department of Management Chair in the College of Business and Technology at Western Illinois University for 20 years; and served as Dean of the School of Business for 5 years at two universities. Currently, Dr. Shane is a Professor of Management in the Department of Business Administration, School of Business at The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College.
