Dr. David Boyd received his DBA in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University. His MBA was awarded by North Texas State University and his BBA by The University of Texas – Arlington. He has completed additional post-graduate study at Texas A&M University. Dr. Boyd has taught at several universities in the United States, Finland, the UAE, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. He served as Dean of Business at the University of the Virgin Islands. He has published articles in national and international journals and has presented scholarly papers at research conferences in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, Asia, The Caribbean and numerous other locations. He served on the Certified Forensic Accountants (CrFA) governing board at the national level and has actively served as an editorial reviewer for several national and international journals. Dr. Boyd has been recognized for his work with students with several awards; by his peers with distinguished paper awards; and by the AICPA by being invited to write CPA exam questions at the national level. He partnered with his wife in a successful public accounting firm for eight years and has been engaged in business consulting for most of his professional career.
