Cendy Boyd
About Me
Dr. Cendy Boyd received her D.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from Grambling State University with a minor in Accounting. Her MBA was awarded by Texas A&M University and her BBA by Midwestern State University – both with majors in Accounting. Dr. Boyd has taught at several universities in the United States, Finland, the UAE, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. She served as Dean of General Education at (KIMEP) the Kazakhstan Institute for Management Economics and Strategic Planning. She has published numerous articles in national and international journals and has presented scholarly papers at research conferences in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, Asia, the Caribbean and various other locations. On at least two occasions her research papers have received “distinguished paper” awards. Dr. Boyd was invited by the AICPA to write CPA exam questions at the national level. She partnered with her husband in a successful public accounting firm for eight years and has been engaged in business consulting for most of her professional career.
