What is Scorpiontation?
Scorpiontation is an orientation program which is required of all incoming freshman and transfer students who have accumulated less than thirty college credit hours. This critical program offers an overview of UTB/TSC’s academic degrees, extracurricular activities, campus resources and provides a great opportunity for students to interact with both faculty and staff members.
It is at Scorpiontation that students will also have the opportunity to meet with an academic advisor and receive course recommendations for the upcoming semester. Parents and families are encouraged to attend Scorpiontation sessions especially designed for them. Furthermore, the Family orientation program provides information about financial aid options, campus safety and all the tools you’ll need to help your student succeed.
