Healthcare Graduate School Preparation

The Office of Health Professions Careers coordinates the development and management of premedical, pre-dental, pre-veterinarian, pre-physical therapy, pre-physician assistant, pre-occupational therapy and research track school curriculum for students pursuing admission into medical, dental, other medical careers, and biomedical research.

There are a total of eight early acceptance programs in partnership with eleven graduate schools across the state of Texas, including all medical schools in the state of Texas and UT Health Science Center Medical, Dental and Allied Health Schools, as well as UTMB Galveston and others.

Since 2005, UTB/TSC has successfully matriculated over sixty students into graduate programs, such as Medical school, Dental school and the Doctorate program in Physical Therapy. Our early acceptance partnerships also help students matriculate into master’s degree programs such as Physician Assistant and Occupational Therapy.
