Zumba
Dates/Times: Every Monday at 5:30-6:30 pm
Location: Casa Bella Club House
Join us for Zumba every Monday! Students, faculty and staff of all levels of Zumba are welcome! The Campus Suicide Prevention Program is hosting weekly Zumba classes from 5:30-6:30 p.m. every Monday to promote well-being on campus.  Classes are held with certified instructor Fanny Pinales. Please be punctual. See you there!

Dates/Times: Every Wednesday 9-4:30 pm

Did you know? About 1 in 4 new HIV infections are among youth ages 13-24. Most of them do not know they are infected, are not getting treated, and can unknowingly pass the virus on to others. Come and get tested. Provided by Valley Aids Council

Healthy Living, Diet, and Nutrition Program
Would you like to participate in a Research Study that focuses on healthy living, diet, and nutrition?
Student Health Services, Student Life, and UREC are recruiting 25 UTB Students who are serious about changing their sedentary lifestyles and who want to learn better eating habits.
• Are you a UTB Student?
• Are you at risk for pre-diabetes or diabetes?
• Do you have high blood pressure?
• Do you have abnormal cholesterol levels?
• Is your body mass index above 25?
• Is there a family history of Type 2 Diabetes?
• Are you interested but not sure if you qualify?
Then stop by our office and we can figure it out! If you qualify for the study, Student Health Services will provide confidential peer support groups, cooking demonstrations, tips and best practices for exercising, healthy living and nutritional eating.

Student Orgs and Drive Challenge:
 
Prize money for the Student Org Challenge has been donated by the Marrow Ambassadors of Central Texas.
 
To qualify for the prizes, participating UTB student organizations must have a representative actively working their assigned table every hour of all three days of the drives.
 
- $600 has been donated and will be awarded as follows:
 
- $200 will be awarded to the student org with the highest number of donors recruited for each day of the drives
 
Prizes will be presented at a post-event: CAMCO Celebration    
 
Note: We’ll need five student orgs – one student org per table for all three days of the drives
