Transfer and Returning Students
We are excited to have you as part of our UTB and TSC community! You are about to become a member of an exciting campus with new challenges and numerous opportunities but we anticipate that your academic experience at UTB and TSC will be different than what you have experienced before. Transfer and returning college students have different concerns and needs than first-time freshmen.
In the excitement of transferring, many students will have questions about academics, student services, and financial aid. Attendance at Transfer Preveiw Day and completion of our online orienation will not only answer these questions but prepare you for the college experience at UTB and TSC.
All Transfer students must attend Orientation. Transfer students with less than 24 transferable credit hours must attend Freshman Orientation. Transfer students with more than 24 transferrable will complete their mandatory orientation online.
Returning students with less than 24 college credits and more than four semesters absent must attend Freshman Orientation. Returning students with more than 24 college credits are not required to attend orientation.
Online Orientation Experience
Transfer students completing the Online Orientation will receive important information regarding UTB and TSC's services and resources. We then invite Transfer students to join us for Transfer Preview Day!
On-Campus Transfer Preview Day Experience
Transfer students attending the our Preveiw Day will learn about UTB and TSC's services and resources, meet faculty and staff, enjoy our beautiful campus, meet academic advising, and talk to our student clubs and organziations. Lunch is included with the Transfer Preview Day.
Transfer students admitted for the spring, summer or fall semester must make their Orientation (online or on-campus) reservation online via our website. Click here to register. This process must be complete in order to attend the Transfer Preview Day.
Reservations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and will not be taken by phone, fax, email, or on-site. If you have questions about registering for Transfer Orientation, please contact our office at (956) 882-5776.
