Fellow Students,

The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College (UTB/TSC) can meet all of your higher education expectations while living and studying in a beautiful environment.  As a student at UTB/TSC, I challenge you to set personal goals for yourself that will guide you through your choices of majors, careers, personal philosophy, civic engagement, and leadership.  Your college experience is a developmental process of learning and personal exploration regarding academics, values, relationships, skills and motivation.  For all of these experiences, I am here to help.

As the Dean of Students, my role is to advocate for you in individual and collective student issues.  My colleagues and I are here to serve our students and the campus community in a professional and positive manner.  Our goal is to ensure that every student is able to achieve their fullest academic and personal potential.  When roadblocks arise, I invite you to come and speak to us so that we can guide you through it.

Education is the pathway to success.  At UTB/TSC, we believe that students can achieve their goals and dreams through hard work, dedication and a well rounded college experience.  As your Dean of Students, I encourage you to take advantage of all of the resources available on campus to realize your goals.  We are here to help you succeed.
