Federal Lobbying Guidance and Forms

The UT System Office of Federal Relations (UT-OFR) has revised the reporting process governing lobbying activities and events that involve covered federal officials. These changes reflect feedback from the UT System campus community over the past year and the recent changes to federal regulations.
Effective immediately, UT System schools and campus employees are required to use the new form to report contacts with federal officials pursuant to the new guidelines governing this policy. The new form is in MS Word format and once completed should be submitted by email to governmentalrelations@utb.edu

Please note that the new reporting form requires individuals to disclose additional information concerning the amount of time spent and financial expenses incurred in all activities (including preparation) related to a lobbying contacts or other covered events.
The quarterly deadlines for reporting are : Q1 (January 1 - March 31) April 10 , Q2 (April 1 - June 30) July 10, Q3 (July 1 - September 30) October 10 and Q4 (October 1 - December 31) January 10. If you need of assistance, please contact Ben Reyna at ben.reyna@utb.edu or 956-882-7445.
