Password Resets
There are two ways to reset your password:
MyPassword: This requires that you have a profile which is a set of three security questions on file. You can use MyPassword to reset your password or unlock your account day or night.
-- OR --
Request a temporary password: This requires that you have a non-UTB email address on file. In order to submit the request, you may need to click on "show content" in order to see the captcha. You must be able to correctly enter your name, username (login name) and your non-UTB email address on file. Once you have correctly entered these items, a temporary password will be sent to your non-UTB email address. You may wish to cut and paste the password from the email received. If you do not receive the temporary password, please add helpdesk@utb.edu to your contacts for the email account you are using. This will ensure that the temporary password notices are not discarded as SPAM or delayed by your email provider. Once you are able to login, it is highly recommended that you create a MyPassword profile following these instructions. This will allow you to use the MyPassword tool in the future if needed.
