Enterprise Infrastructure (EI)
Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) operation provides data, voice and telecommunications support for The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College. EI keeps the campus facilities up to current infrastructure standards, provides state-of-the-art network and is cost-effective telecommunications. For the end user, EI operation strives to ensure an environment for students, faculty and staff in which they may take maximum advantage of network computing and telecommunication technologies for enhancing and furthering the instructional and research goals of the university. Some specific responsibilities and functions include: the administration, analysis, design, installation, maintenance, operation and planning of campus data and voice communications at different levels.
