UTB/TSC attracts diverse students who appreciate the personal attention from faculty, staff, and administration that make up a friendly university community. There are over 80 student clubs and organization. Students are encouraged to commit to excellence by developing their own unique talents and recognizing the value and importance of serving others. At UTB/TSC the leadership development program and event programming initiatives provide students with the opportunity to translate classroom experiences into opportunities that positively impact the community around them.

The Division of Student Affairs offers services that support the academic and personal growth of students.  Additional areas that serve to facilitate student success include the Arnulfo Oliveira Memorial Library, Infomation Technology - User Services and Distance Education.
