Reading/Study Skills Workshops
Learning Enrichment regularly schedules study skills workshops open to the university community. In addition, the Learning Enrichment also provides in-class workshops are offered in a specific course when we are invited by an instructor. We offer students the tools they need to not only surmount the academic challenges that they face, but to strive for a better grade in their courses. A multiplicity of topics is presented in a dynamic and fun way, so as to engage students in activities that are relevant to them and immediately applicable. Each semester, sessions cover different topics, depending on student needs and faculty feedback. The sessions include, but are not limited to:
- Using Research Resources
- APA and MLA
- Writing Research Papers
Test Preparation Workshops
To help students prepare for exams, Learning Enrichment provides a variety of test preparation workshops. Topics covered include:
- COMPASS writing, reading, and math
- Preparing for Exams
- Overcoming Test Anxiety
