Carnegie Mellon Open Learning Initiative
Carnegie Mellon's Open Learning Initiative (OLI) has offered UTB the opportunity to incorporate their online materials in a variety of ways to enhance learning. Faculty may also opt to participate in a formal structured research pilot that includes an honorarium for participation in this national pilot.
The courses for which OLI courses and materials will be available include: Anatomy and Physiology, Introduction to Biology, Engineering Statics, Elementary French I & II, Logic & Proofs, Introduction to Psychology and Introduction to Statistics.

Candice Thille from Carnegie Mellon will present an in-person workshop from 9 am-12 noon on September 26 in UBCB 2.112.
Faculty will be given free access to online student materials, including labs, assessments, and tutors, as well as faculty tools and analytics providing timely feedback on students’ learning, misconceptions, and progress.
Where: Center for Teaching and Learning, 2.112 Univesity Blvd Classroom Building.
When: September 26, 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
