WORKFORCE TRAINING AND CONTINUING EDUCATION

  • Enrollment: About 4,000 students annually participate in programs that include the Language Institute, computer training, real-estate licensing classes, professional development, CPR training, customized training in tandem with local businesses and the Criminal Justice Institute, which trains future law enforcement personnel.
  • International Innovation Center: The center’s business incubator has launched more than 67 startup companies, created an estimated 648 jobs with potential job creation on maturity of more than 1,123 jobs. The business incubator currently has a 72 percent success rate.
