Student Organizations Management Services
The Office of Student Life is dedicated to creating a rewarding co-curricular experience for all our students at UTB/TSC. The services and experiences Student Organizations produce create a lasting impact on the lives of our students. The Office of Student Life understands the high value of student organizations, and the integral part they play in the success of our students. As such, our staff is always looking for student leaders to partner with and help guide them to create a student organization that will help advance the mission of UTB/TSC. The combined consulting, guidance, work and support offered through the Office of Student Life to our student organizations is identified as the Student Organization Management Services.
UTB/TSC provides an array of student activities and programs geared to engage students to the campus. Student Organizations also create their own separate programming and activities that enhance the student experience at UTB/TSC. One of our staff main role is to consult and guide student organizations in producing an activity that will be successful, safe, and that will advance the goals of the student organization. The experience student leaders engage in when organizing a conference, planning a trip, or setting up an activity, not only adds valuable experience to that student leader, but provides opportunities for engagement for all our UTB/TSC students.
Student organizations at The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College actively participate in and contribute to a vibrant university community. Registered student organizations at the university provide invaluable experiences and opportunities for students to grow as individuals, leaders, and community members.
